Supercar maker Lamborghini...

Supercar maker Lamborghini is on the right track - half-year figures reveal a 45 per cent rise in sales.
The firm sold 952 cars between January and June this year, compared with 655 in the same period in 2005. The increase was down to the introduction of the new Gallardo, a stronger dealer network and more international clients.  More about Supercar maker Lamborghini...

Company blames pothole after trailer leaves lorry and hits car

A HAULAGE firm blamed a pothole after a trailer broke free from a lorry and hit a car passing at 60mph.
Magistrates heard the car ended up hitting the central reservation on the A38 at Willington after the runaway trailer hit its side.
Luckily no-one was seriously injured.
The lorry was operated by Punchard's Haulage, of Bramshall, near Uttoxeter, which was fined £1,334 after admitting using a vehicle with a part in a dangerous condition.  More about  Company blames pothole after trailer leaves lorry and hits car
